Sal Peña was featured on the cover of the Sunday Jobs Section of the Los Angeles Times in an article detailing his experience as one of Didi Hirsch's counselors on the Suicide Prevention Crisisline. In the article Sal recounts his experience with the centers much needed program - "I consider it an honor to be able to reach out and help someone in the darkest moment of their life".
